Silviu Paduraru

Silviu Paduraru is the founder and lead engineer of VPATify, an automated accessibility scanning and VPAT generation platform. With over eight years of full-stack web development experience, he built VPATify to close the gap between the theoretical WCAG standard and the practical reality organizations face when producing Accessibility Conformance Reports for procurement.

His accessibility engineering work spans automated DOM analysis, vision-AI-assisted scan methods, keyboard and screen reader simulation pipelines, and structured-data validation — the six methods that underpin VPATify's 80%+ WCAG 2.2 coverage. He has spent significant time studying WCAG 2.2 success criteria in depth, building criterion-specific test logic for all 86 SC at levels A, AA, and AAA.

Before founding VPATify, Silviu worked as a full-stack engineer on SaaS products built with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL — the same stack VPATify runs on today. His interest in accessibility grew from first-hand experience watching procurement cycles stall because organizations lacked credible conformance documentation, and from observing how expensive and slow traditional manual audits are for teams shipping quickly.
